Gerald Cohen Composer Portrait Concert

The works of Gerald Cohen are being featured on a composer portrait concert at the Jewish Theological Seminary. The program will include Voyagers, for clarinet and string quartet, Preludes and Debka, for trombone and string quartet, and two premieres: Sea of Reeds, an arrangement for solo piano of some of Cohen’s best-known songs, and Amid the Alien Corn, a vocal duet based on the biblical story of Ruth and Naomi.
